What is the Timeline?

Effective January 1, 2024, we have ceased offering the Kaspersky anti-malware engine for both Windows and Linux platforms and have also stopped including it in our bundles. We will maintain support for existing customers until April 1, 2024. After this date, Kaspersky will be automatically replaced with the aforementioned engine replacement. If you wish to receive the replacement earlier, please contact your sales representative or OPSWAT Support.

What is the Next Step?

OPSWAT is committed to providing top-tier threat detection solutions. We will keep assessing and incorporating leading anti-malware engines into Metadefender Core to boost its Multiscanning capabilities and safeguard your critical infrastructure.

Further to Kaspersky Discontinuation

We will be removing the Antiy anti-malware from Windows 20 Engine packages in MetaDefender Core and replacing it with LIONIC anti-malware. This change is scheduled to occur starting April 1st, 2024. The update will be carried out automatically. During this transition, the MetaDefender Core UI may display an "unlicensed" label next to the Antiy Engine. Please disregard this message, as the Antiy engine will no longer be included in the Windows package 20, having been replaced by LIONIC.

OPSWAT will no longer provide any support or information regarding Kaspersky.
