Can I upload files to a file server after they have been scanned by MetaDefender Kiosk?

This article applies to all MetaDefender Kiosk V4 releases deployed on Windows or Linux systems.

Yes, you can.

There are multiple ways in which files can be moved to a file server after they have been scanned by MetaDefender Kiosk.

All of the following options can be configured as part of your MetaDefender Kiosk Workflows:

  1. Files can be uploaded to a MetaDefender Managed File Transfer server via built-in integration with MetaDefender Kiosk.
  2. Files can be copied to a specified network path.
  3. Files can be uploaded to a file server by running a custom script.

Enabling Custom Command Line Script may introduce potential security risks. It is recommended that only experienced administrators enable and manage this setting, taking full responsibility to implement appropriate security measures and monitor for any vulnerabilities.
