My OPSWAT Central Management
OPSWAT Central Management (CM10) lets administrators centrally manage, monitor, and configure multiple MetaDefender Kiosk devices from a single console. Instead of logging into each kiosk individually, admins can push configuration changes, deploy updates, and monitor device health and status across their entire kiosk fleet from one unified dashboard.
Key Benefits:
Centralized control – Manage all kiosk devices from a single administrative console, eliminating the need for local, device-by-device configuration.
Consistent policy enforcement – Apply the same security policies, scan settings, and configurations uniformly across all devices, reducing configuration drift.
Time savings & efficiency – Bulk-apply updates and settings changes to multiple kiosks at once instead of repeating the same steps device by device.
Improved visibility – Monitor the real-time status, health, and activity of every kiosk in the deployment from one place.
Faster troubleshooting – Quickly identify and address issues on specific devices without needing physical access.
Scalability – Easily onboard new kiosk devices into the managed fleet as the deployment grows.
Remote support package retrieval – Generate and download a support package from one or more enrolled Kiosk devices directly through Central Management, without needing direct network access to the devices themselves. See Remote Support Package Retrieval from Central Management for the full walkthrough.
Centralized user authentication – Authenticate Kiosk users, including RFID card logins, through Central Management instead of connecting each device directly to Active Directory. See Authenticating Kiosk Users from Central Management for details.
Centralized certificate and manifest management – Import a certificate once in Central Management and distribute it to your Kiosk fleet for HTTPS and media-manifest signing, instead of configuring each device individually. See Managing and Distributing Certificates from Central Management for the full walkthrough.
Consistent policies across mixed versions – Apply one group policy to Kiosks running different MetaDefender Kiosk versions and let Central Management adapt the policy to each device automatically. See Applying a Group Policy to Kiosks on Different Versions for details.
Streamlined application upgrades – Roll out MetaDefender Kiosk application upgrades to your fleet and roll back to a previous version if needed — all triggered and monitored from Central Management, without visiting each device. See Application Upgrade and Rollback from Central Management for the full walkthrough.
