Why Am I Getting a "Failed to Process" Message for Vulnerability Assessment?
This article applies to all MetaDefender Core releases deployed on Windows and Linux systems.
Issue:
You may see a "Failed to Process" message for Vulnerability Assessment.

Cause
This can happen due to one of the following reasons:
- File-Based Vulnerability Assessment engine is not licensed

- File-Based Vulnerability Assessment Module is currently updating If the File-Based Vulnerability Assessment module is still updating, scans may temporarily fail with this message.


Resolution
- If the File-Based Vulnerability Assessment engine is not licensed Please go to Workflow > [Your Workflow] > Vulnerability and disable the Vulnerability Processing engine if it's not licensed.

- File-Based Vulnerability Assessment Module is currently updating If the issue is due to an update in progress, please wait a few minutes and try again once the update completes.
