Polling handling

In this scenario:

  • new and changes on files are pulled from storages and processed individually
  • files are identified to be processed only once
  • the polling interval of storage content is at every 5 seconds or after the entire storage discovery is finished

Using polling handling the number of requests of storage content is increased to be able to keep track of all the changes that happen on the storage.

Real-time processing on these types of storage units works in a different way compared to other storages.

The real-time processing has a configuration in env variables that change how the processing works. Check the custom configuration page for further details regarding configuration.
