No Wi-fi Adapter Found

Issue

No Wi-fi networks are detected with the error message "No Wi-fi Adapter Found" displayed.

“No Wi-fi Adapter Found” message

Cause

MetaDefender Drive operating system can't detect Wi-fi drivers on older devices.

Solution

Use an Ethernet cable or a USB Wi-fi dongle instead.

The following are Wi-fi dongles that we have tested and confirmed they are detected by MetaDefender Drive:
