End of Sale and End of Life for MetaDefender NAC v8
OPSWAT is officially announcing that MetaDefender NAC v8 will reach its End of Sale on June 30, 2026, and End of Life on December 31, 2027.
Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive technical support and maintenance under their existing terms and conditions until their contract expires, or the product reaches its final End-of-Life date on December 31, 2027.
During the remaining support cycles, OPSWAT will provide fixes for reproducible and verifiable defects when no viable workaround exists, and the defect prevents core product usage. Confirmed fixes will be integrated into the next scheduled software release.
Milestones and Dates

| End-of-Sale Date | The final date to order the product through OPSWAT point-of-sale mechanisms. The product is no longer commercially available after this date. | June 30, 2026 |
| End-of-Life Date | The final date to receive applicable service, technical support, and warranty coverage. After this date, all support services are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete. | December 31, 2027 |
Product Migration Options
Customers are encouraged to migrate to MetaDefender NAC v10. The ideal migration path depends on your current NAC deployment type, please refer to the Migration Guidelines for detailed instructions.
