MetaDefender Managed File Transfer 3.8.1 is a minor release with feature enhancements and bug fixes.
Bundled Email NotificationsEmail notifications can now consolidate alerts for multiple file and folder uploads, allowing users to receive a single summary email for all blocked files. This improves efficiency and reduces notification clutter.
MFT to MFT connection StatusThe MFT-to-MFT now includes a connection status indicator showing whether the connection is active, which enhances monitoring and improves operational reliability.
DLP-Based Routing for MFT to MFTDLP-based routing is now available, allowing administrators to set conditions so that only files with positive DLP results are routed to the MFT, strengthening data security and compliance.
Visibility of Archive File ContentsThe File Scan Results page now displays the contents of blocked archive files, including individual files within them. This improvement enhances visibility and aids in more effective threat assessment.
Bulk Actions in Data Grid Context MenusContext menus for data grids now support bulk actions, allowing users to right-click and perform actions on multiple items simultaneously.

Security EnhancementTo strengthen security, rate limiting is now enabled by default, and the MFT-to-MFT file transfer policy is set to "Transfer allowed files only."
Date-Time Picker ImprovementImproved the date-time picker component across all pages for greater stability and robustness.
