When the supervisor approval function is enabled, this feature allows the local administrator and the other administrators (except readonly administrators) to release the pending file. The released files will be available for the users, and no other supervisor approval is needed.
Releasing a file is regardless of how many approval steps are still remaining.
In order to release a file go to the Processing History page. In the file action menu, you can select the "Release" option:
The administrators can also release multiple files at the same time:
