See software information

Global Setting > Device Setting > Device Updates. The Software pane displays information about each uploaded version:

  • Active: If a software version build is operating at this time, a check mark shows
  • Version: Software version
  • Build: Software build
  • Size: File size of the software in bytes
  • Bitness: Architecture of the computer system the software operates on, usually 32 or 64 bits
  • Upload Date: Date a user uploaded the software version to this appliance in a format of MM:DD HH:MM:SS YYYY
  • Applied Date: Date a user applied the current software version to this appliance in a format of MM:DD HH:MM:SS YYYY
  • Action: Apply or Delete this software version

Delete software

Note:

  • You can delete active software from the Device Updates table but not from memory. You must first apply a different software version, so the different one is now the active version, before deleting the other version.

In the Configuration menu, click Device Updates. The Software pane displays.

  • Click Delete in the Action column for the software that you want to remove.
  • Click the Submit button to confirm this software build (personality) is the one you want to remove. A green banner at the top tells you that the procedure is successful.
