Sender Blocklist
MetaDefender Email Gateway Security can now be configured to reject emails from IP addresses/ranges and sender email addresses/domains on the SMTP level.

OPSWAT Filescan sandbox support
It is now possible to use OPSWAT Filescan sandbox technology in MetaDefender Email Gateway Security. New classifications (Normal, Suspicious & Malicious behavior) has been added to identify results directly in the MetaDefender Email Gateway Security UI.

Rescanning of password protected content & sanitization
In case of rescanning password protected content with sanitization enabled, scan result could in some cases omit sanitization failures (and instead displayed as no sanitization attempt took place) .
Dashboard customizations lost
When configuring custom Quarantine filter it could cause any Dashboard customizations to reset to default. This has now been resolved.
User directory ordering not working
In certain scenarios the user directory ordering was not working as expected. This has now been resolved.
Email HTML body corruption
In certain cases the email HTML body could become unreadable when content was sanitized. This has now been resolved.
Attachments with long filenames could fail sanitization
Certain attachments with very long filenames could fail sanitization and cause the whole email to be Blocked and or Fail. This has now been resolved.

Option to skip adding Email Gateway Security specific headers to all emails
By default, MetaDefender will add some diagnostic headers to inbound emails. It is now possible to disable this, also for inbound emails. Refer to registry configuration for more information.
Email alerts for certificate expirations
MetaDefender Email Gateway Security will now send out automatic email alerts when any of the certificates configured in the product are about to expire. Alert will be generated 7 days before, 1 day before and for any expired certificates.

Option to quarantine emails on subsequent scan retry failures
In case of temporary scan failures it is now possible to move the emails to Quarantine for investigation, rescanning, releasing etc.
