Files can be skipped during a scan for multiple reasons.
Skipped files result in a POTENTITIAL THREATS FOUND status, even when there are no detected files under Potential Infection, Potential Vulnerabilities, Sensitive Data, Data Integrity or Country of Origin lists.
You can find a list of the skipped files under the Skipped Files tab:
To determine the reason for skipping files, click any of the skipped items to check the details on why the file was skipped.
The following example shows a skipped file due to exceeding the maximum allowed file size:
