Patch Dashboard (Application)

Application Patch Dashboard offers a centralized, real-time overview of the organization’s third-party application security posture. It visualizes key insights on outdated applications, vulnerabilities, and update coverage, prioritizing high-risk applications for faster remediation.

To access the dashboard, navigate to Patch Management > Overview. Click on Third Party Applications tab.

Summary

The top summary panel provides an immediate snapshot of the organization's application vulnerability posture.

  • Applications With Critical Vulnerabilities: The number of applications affected by critical-severity vulnerabilities requiring urgent attention.
  • Applications Affected by Known CVEs: The total count of applications exposed to publicly disclosed vulnerabilities.
  • Applications Need Updates: The number of applications with available updates that have not yet been deployed.
  • Updates Pending Approval: Application updates that have been detected but are not yet authorized for deployment. Monitoring this metric helps resolve bottlenecks in the approval workflow before they lead to compliance gaps.
  • Devices with 3rd-Party Vulnerabilities: The total number of endpoints running at least one outdated third-party application, indicating the breadth of exposure across your environment.

Application Vulnerability by Age

Organizes outdated applications by their vulnerability age and severity level. This visualization identifies long-standing vulnerabilities versus newly discovered threats, facilitating the targeted remediation of legacy risks.

Application Patches by Severity

View the total volume of available application patches categorized by their risk level (Critical, High, Medium, or Low) for risk-based prioritization, ensuring the most critical vulnerabilities are addressed first.

Vulnerabilities Trend Last 14 Days

Tracks the daily trend of application vulnerabilities over the past 14 days, providing visibility into whether the organization's third-party application risk posture is improving, stable, or deteriorating.

Top Applications by Affected Devices

Identifies the specific applications that are outdated across the highest number of endpoints. Prioritizing these high-impact applications maximizes remediation efficiency, closing the greatest number of individual security gaps with minimal deployment effort.

Jobs

This tab tracks patch deployment, including running status, remediation results, success rates, and failure trends.

Deployment Summary

Provides an immediate overview of all active and completed patching execution states.

Deployment Results by Device

Aggregates device statuses across all completed deployments to identify endpoint success or failure pattern.

Device Deployment Results

  • Completed: All assigned patches are successfully installed, or were not required on the targeted device.
  • Install Failed: All attempted patch installations on targeted device failed.
  • Incompleted: Patching job has been initiated on targeted device, but the device did not report its final execution results back to My OPSWAT Central Management.
  • Partially Installed: Some patches are installed.
  • Pending Reboot: At least one patch on targeted device requires a restart.
  • Unreachable: The device was offline or unavailable during the deployment window.

Patch Installation Success Rate

The ratio of successfully Installed patches to Total Installations across all completed deployments.

Deployment History

Tracks the daily volume of Policy and On-Demand deployment executions over time.

Deployment Issues Trend

Visualizes daily endpoint failure counts, categorized by specific error reasons to identify systemic infrastructure issues.

Top 10 Deployments by Target Devices

Identifies the largest deployment jobs based on the total number of targeted endpoints.
